The President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, Mohamed Ould Cheikh Ghazouani, received a delegation from Qatar Chamber headed by Chairman Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani, on the sidelines of the Fifth United Nations Conference on the Least Developed Countries, which kicked off at the Qatar National Convention Centre.
HE the Mauritanian President praised the good brotherly relations between his country and the State of Qatar, noting the important role played by the private sector in economic activity, calling on the private sector in the two countries to enhance joint cooperation in various fields.
His Excellency President Mohamed Ould Cheikh Ghazouani called on Qatari businessmen to invest in Mauritania, where there are many investment opportunities in multiple sectors, stressing his welcome to Qatari investors.
For his part, Qatar Chamber Chairman HE Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al-Thani stressed, "The Qatari private sector is keen to identify investment opportunities in Mauritania, especially in the industrial and agricultural sectors, which are of interest to Qatari businessmen, stressing the desire of many Qatari companies to direct their investments to Mauritania."
