Dubai ranked first regionally and third globally in the list of the best global cities that expats want to live and work in, according to the “Expat Insider 2021” survey issued by the “Internation” Foundation. While Kuala Lumpur topped the world rankings, followed by Malacca in second place, while Sydney ranked fourth after Dubai, and then "Ho Chi Minh" in fifth place.
Dubai ranked highly among the 57 cities ranked by the index, ranking first among all the cities of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries included in this report. Dubai achieved the best results in the stability index, as it ranked sixth globally, which makes it among the top ten cities in each sub-category of this indicator, which is the ease of learning the local language (fourth), getting to know friends and socializing (seventh), and friendly residents (seventh), feeling welcome (tenth).
Dubai is the easiest city in the world to live without speaking the local language as it is easy to live in Dubai without speaking the local language.
