Al-Rumaithi Discusses Enhancing the Economic Cooperation with Vietnam

Mohammed Thani Al Rumaithi, the President of the Union of Arab Chambers, the President of the Federation of Emirati Chambers and Chairman of the "Abu Dhabi Chamber" BOD, discussed with Nguyen Manh Tuan, Ambassador of Vietnam to UAE, the means of strengthening trade and investment relations in various sectors.

This came during the meeting that took place at the Chamber’s headquarters, in the presence of the Mohamed Helal Al Mheiri, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Chamber and Hamid Bin Salem, Secretary General of the Federation of the UAE Chambers of Commerce, and Abdullah Ghurair Al Qubaisi, Deputy Director General of the Chamber.

Al-Rumaithi affirmed the keenness to open new channels for trade cooperation with Vietnam to serve development goals, and to work jointly to encourage the establishment of joint projects and investments in priority sectors. He also called on the companies in Vietnam to visit trade fairs and participate in economic events hosted by the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and to meet with their counterparts from private sector companies from various activities and sectors, especially the food security sector.

For his part, the Ambassador of the Republic of Vietnam praised Al-Rumaithi’s words about providing all available capabilities to advance areas of economic cooperation with the private sector and the business environment in Vietnam, calling for the formation of a trade delegation to visit Vietnam in the near future to get acquainted with the investment opportunities available in various sectors.
