Kuwait is 3rd in the Gulf Region on the List of the World’s Most Influential Countries

CEO World magazine ranked Kuwait among the most influential countries in the world, diplomatically, economically and socially, with it ranked third in the Gulf and 48 globally, by 56.55 points, out of 57 countries.

Saudi Arabia ranked 1st in the Gulf Area and 12th in the World ranking at 85.08 points, followed by the UAE in 15th place globally with 77.95 points, then Oman ranked 50th globally with 55.97 points, and Qatar 52nd globally with 55.05 points.

For its part, the United States topped the global list after obtaining 98.53 points, followed by China with 98.39 points, Russia with 98.28 points, then Germany with 95.71 points, along with France with 95.26 points, the United Kingdom with 94.87 points, and Japan with 89.67 points, India by 89.11 points, Italy by 86.6 points, and Canada by 86.02 points.

On the other hand, the report showed that despite the uncertainty surrounding the British economy after leaving the European Union, the country ranked sixth over Japan and India, for its ability to influence the behavior and opinions of countries, people and organizations around the world.

According to the report, the classification process was based on a global questionnaire that included more than 280,000 experts in the field of politics and business from 11 countries around the world, and the countries were ranked according to their highest score, and the evaluation components in the classification included the measurement of military strength, the strength of international alliances, and the country's leadership, International trade and travel, the strength of the economy and the culture of the country, the diplomatic and media influence, the ability to help countries in need, and the extent of these countries’ communication with the rest of the world.
