The World Bank has revealed that Saudi Arabia is progressing 30 business centers, leading 190 countries around the world as the most developed and reforming business environment and economy, through concrete economic reforms.

According to the World Bank's “Doing Business 2020 report”, Saudi Arabia implemented a record of eight reforms last year, setting up a unified outlet for start-up companies, eliminating the requirement for married women to submit additional documents when applying for a national identity card, and speeding up procedures of import and export through enhanced single-window e-commerce and enabling risk-based inspections.

The report showed that the Kingdom has launched an online platform for certification of imported goods, improved infrastructure at the port of Jeddah, and other reforms have increased access to credit, enhanced protection for minority shareholders and facilitated settlement of insolvency cases.
