The British capital London will be set for Wednesday, July 3, 2019 to host the “British-Arab Economic Summit 2019 – A Shared Vision”, organized by the Arab British Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the Union of Arab Chambers and under the umbrella of the League of Arab States and in partnership and support of the British Chamber of Commerce & Business. Mr. Bandar Ali Reda, the Secretary General and Chief Executive Officer of ABCC said that "the Summit will be an exceptional platform for communicating with people interested in trade exchange in all key sectors, especially in light of the expected high attendance by officials, business leaders, and many prestigious and leading companies in Britain and Arab countries."
He clarified in an interview with Asharq Al-Awsat that "the summit will highlight the most important topics for British and Arab business, and will present the opportunity to showcase a wide range of emerging and existing projects that have been recorded for display from the Arab world and the UK through the accompanying exhibition. It will also offer opportunities for investors, exporters, experts, consultants and service providers to meet and discuss the owners of these projects and their representatives of decision makers."
Mr. Ali Reda added: "the aim of the Arab-British Chamber of Commerce is to achieve a trade balance between the Arab countries and Britain by supporting the partnership between the two sides by offering investment opportunities in the Arab countries. In terms of countries with weak trade movement, the Chamber is making efforts to assist foreign investors in accessing investment opportunities in these countries. The Chamber is introducing the best products and industries in the Arab country to raise the value of British imports in cooperation with the concerned parties in both countries."
