The President of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Sameer Abdulla Nass, received at the Merchant House the President of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vladimir Platonov, in the presence of the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Kingdom of Bahrain Igor Kremnev. The meeting discussed many issues related to trade and economic cooperation between Bahrain and Russia in general and between the two friendly chambers in particular, especially in the field of tourism, real estate, health and education in both countries.
Nass confirmed that "the relations between the Russian and the Bahraini sides are developing steadily, and this great promotion of trade and economic relations between the two friendly countries, was a culmination and reflection of the development of political and diplomatic relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Russian Federation, which were laid by, both Russian President Vladimir Putin and King Hamad bin Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
For his part, Platonov expressed his pride and appreciation to the BCCI and all its officials for its outstanding positive roles in activating the Bahraini-Russian economic relations. He urged the Chamber and all other official bodies to work on developing the trade and economic relations between the two countries through organizing various joint activities, in addition to intensifying the visits of the Bahraini and Russian trade delegations in order to discover more investment opportunities available between the two countries.
