Qatar's banking sector rose by 4.5 percent year-on-year in November, according to the bank's monthly budget issued by the Qatar Central Bank.
The total assets of the Qatari banking sector during the last month reached 1393.3 billion riyals ($ 385.5 billion), compared to 1332.7 billion riyals ($ 368.7 billion) in November 2017.
On a monthly basis, the assets of banks operating in Qatar increased by 0.7 percent, reaching QAR 1384.1 billion in October.
The monthly surge of assets was supported by the volume increase of credit facilities granted in November by 0.4 percent up to 940.8 billion riyals, compared with 937.4 billion riyals a month earlier.
