Jordan's Public Debt Rises 6.2%

Net Public Debt in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan rose 6.2 percent to 27.01 billion dinars ($ 38 billion) in the first nine months of 2018 compared to 25.4 billion dinars at the end of 2017.
According to the statistics published by the Ministry of Finance in Jordan, Net Internal Debt of the Kingdom amounted to 15.3 billion dinars at the end of September, while the external debt accounted for 11.65 billion dinars.
Jordan's Net Public Debt is equivalent to 90.7 percent of GDP.
