Samir Nass Discusses Deeper Economic Cooperation with Thailand

Sameer Nass, Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, emphasized on the "depth and strength of existing political, economic, trade and investment relations between Bahrain and Thailand," pointing out that the development of the investment climate between the two countries is conducive to increasing the volume of intra-trade during the coming period. He also expressed his keenness to build a strategic partnership between the two friendly countries.
During a meeting with Mr. Thanis Songkhla, Thai Ambassador to Bahrain, Mr. Nass stated: “The Chamber looks forward to achieving all that will push forward the development of bilateral trade relations between Thailand and the Kingdom.” He pointed out that "Bahrain's investment climate enables the Kingdom to attract more Foreign Capital in ways to support the Local Private sector and the National Economy."
The Ambassador Mr. Songkhla, expressed the keenness of the Thai Private sector to develop further economic relations with Bahrain in the coming period. He called upon Bahraini business owners to "strengthen joint investment cooperation between businessmen to prepare for the promising investment projects between Bahrain and Thailand."
