Dr. Sami Al-Obaidi, the Chairman of the Council of Saudi Chambers in the presence of the Secretary General of the Council, Dr. Saud Al-Mashari, held talks in the Egyptian capital Cairo with the Ahmed Al-Wakil, the Chairman and the Secretary General of the General Federation of the Egyptian Chambers of Commerce Dr. Alaa Ezz to draw up a roadmap for future cooperation between the two sides, thus enhancing trade and investment relations between the two countries.
Al-Obaidi explained that "the prospects and areas of cooperation between the Council and the Federation of Egyptian Chambers have been discussed to encourage joint investments and increase opportunities for trade partnerships between the Saudi-Egyptian business sectors, especially in view of the increasing interest of the Saudi private sector to invest in Egypt and benefit from the Egyptian Market.
Al-Obaidi revealed the agreement between the two sides to target a number of promising African markets through Saudi-Egyptian partnerships to invest in those markets, especially in the economic sectors, which are a priority in the agenda of cooperation between the business sectors in both countries.
