Yemen's Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Mohamed Saeed Al-Saadi discussed with Yemen's World Bank Director Raja Qattan a series of Bank-financed projects and issues related to the development of the partnership for the next phase to serve the common objectives of reconstruction and economic recovery.
The meeting also discussed the completion of the joint efforts between the Bank and Yemen in completing the third phase of the dynamic assessment of the damage and the needs caused by the war, the Bank's reconstruction plan and the integrated urban and emergency reconstruction projects.
In this regard, the Yemeni minister stressed the importance of the World Bank's contribution in helping his country especially preparing it to face the next phase. For her part, the international official reiterated the Bank's continued support for Yemen.
