Annual Inflation in Saudi Arabia Slows to 1.9%

Saudi Arabia’s Consumer Price Index (inflation rate) slowed to 1.9% year-on-year in November, marking the lowest level in nine months.

According to data from the General Authority for Statistics, prices of housing, water, electricity, gas, and other fuels rose by 4.3%, food and beverages by 1.3%, and transport by 1.5%. Residential rents were the largest contributor to inflation in November 2025 compared with November 2024.

On a monthly basis, the Consumer Price Index increased by 0.1% in November, driven by a 0.3% rise in the housing, water, electricity, gas, and other fuels category, supported by a 0.4% increase in quarterly residential rents.
