UAE Minister of Economy and Tourism Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri revealed that hotel establishments hosted more than 16.1 million guests during the first six months of this year, a 5.5 percent increase compared to the same period in 2024.
While chairing the third meeting of the “Hospitality Advisory Council” for 2025, attended by representatives from both public and private sectors including directors and heads of major national and international hotel establishments operating in the country, he confirmed that “the hospitality sector recorded outstanding performance during the past period.”
Hotel occupancy nights rose to 56 million, an increase of 7.3 percent, while the average stay length reached 3.5 nights. The UAE currently has 1,243 hotel establishments with more than 216,000 rooms.
