Non-Oil Sector Drives Saudi GDP to 3.9 Percent Growth

Estimates by the General Authority for Statistics showed that Saudi Arabia’s real gross domestic product (GDP) grew by 3.9 percent in the second quarter of 2025, compared with the same quarter of last year.

Non-oil activities grew by 4.6 percent, while oil activities recorded a 3.8 percent increase. Government activities saw slight growth of 0.6 percent.

On a quarterly basis (compared with Q1 2025), seasonally adjusted real GDP grew by 1.7 percent. The oil sector was the main growth driver, with oil activities rising by 5.6 percent. Non-oil activities grew by 0.8 percent, while government activities decreased by 0.8 percent.
