President of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce, Alaa Al-Alay, confirmed that the Damascus International Fair constitutes a unique opportunity for integration and cooperation among traders and industrialists from various Syrian governorates and contributes to enhancing international participation in a manner that serves the national economy and strengthens its economic standing.
In a media statement on the sidelines of the press conference launching the 62nd session of the Damascus International Fair, the Federation President pointed out that "the fair represents an important window to highlight investment opportunities in Syria, especially in the commercial and industrial sectors, in light of the clear tax and administrative facilitations provided by the state, aimed at stimulating the business and investment environment."
