Tourism revenues in Morocco reach 54 billion dirhams in the first half of 2025

Tourism revenues in Morocco rose to 54 billion dirhams during the first half of 2025, a growth rate of 9.6 percent compared to the same period last year, an increase of 4.7 billion dirhams. According to data from the Moroccan Ministry of Tourism, Handicrafts, Social and Solidarity Economy, the number of tourists to Morocco increased by 19 percent in the first half of this year, in addition to rising levels of tourism spending, enhancing its contribution to supporting economic resources.

Morocco is implementing its strategic roadmap for the period 2023-2026, which prioritizes strengthening air connectivity, developing tourism offerings, and intensifying international promotion, in addition to launching initiatives that support the local tourism economy.
