China’s exports to the United States recorded a sharp jump of 32.4 percent in June compared with the previous month, indicating a recovery in trade relations following high‑level talks between the world’s two largest economies.
According to China’s General Administration of Customs, Chinese exports to the U.S. market were valued at $38.2 billion in June, up from $28.2 billion in May and $33 billion in April.
Alongside this notable increase, China’s trade surplus with the United States stood at about $26.57 billion in June, while the cumulative surplus for the first half of the current year reached $141.74 billion.
