Data from the Tunisian National Tourism Office showed a notable increase in the number of foreign visitors compared to the previous year. This was driven by a mix of local and international factors that improved Tunisia’s image and rebuilt trust with both traditional and new markets.

In the first half of this year, about 4.3 million tourists visited Tunisia, representing an 11% year-on-year increase.

Tourism revenues reached approximately 7.5 billion dinars ($2.34 billion) by the end of last year, with expectations of further growth by the end of this year. The government projects that the number of incoming tourists will reach 11 million by the end of 2025, with tourism revenues surpassing 7.8 billion dinars ($2.6 billion).
