Turkish Trade Minister Ömer Bolat announced that Turkey’s exports rose by 8% in June 2025 compared to the same month in 2024, reaching $20.5 billion.
For the first half of the year, exports grew by 4.1% to $131.4 billion. The minister expects total exports to surpass $270 billion by the end of 2025. Imports in June reached $28.7 billion, up 15.3% year-on-year, resulting in a monthly trade deficit of $8.2 billion. Germany, the UK, the U.S., Italy, and Iraq were Turkey’s top five export destinations.
