Foreign Direct Investment Inflows into Saudi Arabia Jump 44 Percent

Data from Saudi Arabia’s General Authority for Statistics showed that net foreign direct investment (FDI) inflows reached SAR 22.2 billion in Q1 2025—a 44% increase compared to SAR 15.5 billion in Q1 2024.

However, net inflows dropped by 7% from the previous quarter (Q4 2024), which recorded SAR 24 billion. Total inbound FDI into Saudi Arabia stood at SAR 24 billion in Q1 2025, up 24% from SAR 19.4 billion in Q1 2024. Outbound FDI from Saudi Arabia amounted to SAR 1.8 billion during the same period.
