Oil prices rose on Wednesday, rebounding slightly after two days of losses, as investors evaluated the durability of the ceasefire agreement between Iran and Israel.
Brent crude futures climbed 75 cents, or 1.1%, to $67.89 per barrel. U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude gained 71 cents, or 1.1%, reaching $65.08 per barrel.
On Tuesday, Brent closed at its lowest level since June 10, while WTI hit its lowest since June 5—levels not seen since before Israel launched a surprise attack on key Iranian military and nuclear facilities on June 13.
