Pakistan expects 2.7 percent growth in current fiscal year

The Pakistani government's annual economic survey showed that the national economy will grow by 2.7 percent during the fiscal year ending June 2025, compared to 2.5 percent growth in the previous year.

The government had initially set a GDP growth target of 3.6 percent, but last month lowered it to 2.7 percent.

The International Monetary Fund expects real GDP to grow by 2.6 percent in fiscal year 2025, followed by 3.6 percent growth the following year.
