Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud revealed during the opening of the Gulf-US Summit in Riyadh that "the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries emphasize their economic partnership with the United States."
The Saudi Crown Prince emphasized that "the United States is a major trading partner, as the volume of trade between the GCC states and the United States in 2024 reached nearly $120 billion."
He said, "Our meeting with President Donald Trump is an extension of the historical relationship and strategic partnership between our countries and the United States, which has grown and developed over the past decades to become a model for joint cooperation. This summit reflects our commitment to collective action to strengthen our relations and expand and develop our strategic partnerships to meet the aspirations of our countries and peoples."
