Under the patronage of His Excellency Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, the Iraq Investment Forum will be held on June 14 and 15, 2025, at the Rashid Hotel in Baghdad. It was organized by the Iraqi Economic Council, under the supervision of the Prime Minister's Office and the National Investment Commission, and in cooperation with the "Economy and Business" group and the Union of Arab Chambers.
The forum comes at a pivotal moment in the process of economic transformation in Iraq, which is entering a new phase of development and growth, driven by structural reforms and openness to Arab and international markets. Iraq is strategically located at the crossroads of global trade routes, along with its human wealth and abundant oil and gas resources, which creates a very promising investment environment and provides wide opportunities for the establishment of new commercial projects and partnerships, as Iraq has made remarkable progress in attracting foreign direct investment.
The forum is an interactive platform that sheds light on the diverse investment climate and opportunities offered by the Iraqi economy. It also provides an opportunity for meetings between government officials, private sector leaders, banks, and international and Arab investment funds.
The forum will include specialized sessions on economic, financial, and monetary policies, ongoing reforms, and facilitating investment procedures. In addition to highlighting investment opportunities in various sectors such as: energy, industry, financial and banking services, infrastructure, transportation, logistics, in addition to the digital economy, and public-private partnerships.
The forum will include a presentation of the strategic development road project and its impact on economic integration, the announcement of the second phase of new cities projects, in addition to more than 130 investment opportunities in several vital sectors.
