Saudi Arabia's Trade Balance Surplus Rises To the Highest Level

Saudi non-oil exports rose 14.3 percent in February year-on-year, amid a 2.6 percent decline in merchandise exportsSaudi non-petroleum exports (excluding re-exports) increased by 0.7 percent, while the value of re-exported goods increased by 45.9 percent during the same period.

Petroleum exports fell by 7.9 percent, while the proportion of petroleum exports in total exports fell from 76.3 percent in February last year to 72.1 percent in February.

On the import front, it witnessed a decline of about 5.6 percent, while the merchandise trade surplus rose 4 percent year-on-year.
