The High Commission for Planning in Morocco revealed that the annual inflation rate in the country, according to the consumer price index, fell to 1.6 percent in March, compared to 2.6 percent in February.
Food price inflation fell significantly, reaching 2.2 percent in March compared to 4.6 percent in the previous month. Non-food price inflation remained stable at 1.1 percent.
Core inflation, which excludes goods with sharp volatility, rose 0.5 percent month-on-month and 1.5 percent year-on-year.
