Remittances from expatriates in Saudi Arabia rose by 37.04 percent year-on-year in February, an increase of 3.46 billion riyals ($921.33 million) compared to the same month last year.
According to data from the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA), expatriate remittances rose to 12.78 billion riyals ($3.41 billion) in February, compared to 9.33 billion riyals ($2.49 billion) in the same month of 2024.
On a monthly basis, the value of expatriate remittances in the Kingdom decreased by 6.98 percent in February, equivalent to 959 million riyals ($255.73 million), compared to the value of remittances in January, which amounted to 13.74 billion riyals ($3.67 billion).
