The World Bank estimated the cost of reconstruction and recovery in Lebanon after the devastating war at about $ 11 billion.
In a report titled "Lebanon's 2025 Rapid Damage and Needs Assessment," the World Bank estimated post-conflict reconstruction and recovery needs at $11 billion, of which $1 billion is earmarked for hard-hit infrastructure sectors.
The report, prepared by the Bank at the request of the Lebanese government, concluded that the economic cost of the conflict in Lebanon is estimated at $14 billion, $7.2 billion of which is due to reduced productivity, lost revenues, and operating costs.
