Egypt's Foreign Reserves Jump to $47.394 Billion

Egypt's foreign exchange reserves rose by $129 million in February to $47.394 billion, compared to $47.265 billion in January, according to data from the Central Bank of Egypt.

The balance of gold with the Central Bank of Egypt rose to 4.11 million ounces by the end of February. The value of gold balances with the Central Bank of Egypt increased by $ 435 million in February to reach $ 11.85 billion.

Egypt's foreign exchange reserves rose by $156 million during January to $47.265 billion, compared to $47.109 billion in December 2024, according to data from the Central Bank of Egypt.
