The World Bank expects the economy in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region to grow strongly this year to 3.3 percent, up from 2024 levels due to uncertainty and uncertainty due to the war in Gaza.
In October, the bank said the Arab economy was expected to grow by about 2.2 percent last year, up from 1.8 percent recorded in 2023, a rise led by the Arab Gulf states. The Gulf economy is expected to grow by 3.4 percent this year and rise to 4.1 percent by the end of next year.
