The Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry (QCCI) and a delegation from the China Foreign Trade Center discussed bilateral cooperation in the fields of trade and economy and the participation of the private sector in promoting trade exchange.
During the meeting, which was held at the Chamber's headquarters in Doha, Ali Bu Sharbak Al Mansouri, Director General of Qatar Chamber, said that China is one of Qatar's most important trade partners and that relations between the two countries are witnessing remarkable development, especially in the economic and trade aspect.
Ma Fengmin, deputy director general of the China Foreign Trade Center, said China and Qatar have a strategic partnership and close trade and economic cooperation, especially under the Belt and Road Initiative and Qatar Vision 2030.
