Egyptian Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly revealed that net foreign exchange reserves rose to $ 47.109 billion last December, reaching their highest levels, compared to $ 46.952 billion in November 2024.

The Prime Minister discussed coordination between the government and the Central Bank to provide the required financial appropriations, in order to enhance the strategic stock of goods, to ensure an increase in supply, and to provide them at reasonable prices, ahead of Ramadan.

Madbouly noted that remittances during the period from January to November 2024 increased by 47.1 percent to reach about $ 26.3 billion, compared to about $ 17.9 billion during the same year 2023, thanks to confidence in economic and financial decisions.
