The Kuwaiti cabinet approved the fiscal year 2025-2026 budget, which begins in early April, with an expected deficit of about 6.306 billion dinars ($ 20.5 billion).
The expected revenues in Kuwait's budget for the next fiscal year are about 18.231 billion dinars ($59.2 billion), while expenses are 24.53 billion dinars ($79.7 billion).
The Cabinet reviewed draft decrees with laws on linking the budgets of ministries, government departments, attached bodies, and independent institutions for the fiscal year 2025/2026.
