Data from the Central Bank of Jordan showed that the net foreign direct investment flowing into Jordan during the third quarter of 2024 increased by 3.7% to $ 457.8 million compared to the same quarter of 2023.
Total foreign investment during the first three quarters of 2024 fell to $1.3 billion from $1.6 billion during the same period a year earlier. Despite this decline, the volume of these flows exceeded what was recorded during the full 2021 and 2022 years.
Arab countries accounted for 49.1 percent of total inflows, led by the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, which contributed 31.7 percent of the total investments.
