Kuwait's consumer price index (inflation) rose by 2.44 percent in October, year-on-year.

Data from the Central Bureau of Statistics showed that the inflation rate in Kuwait rose last October by 0.13 percent on a monthly basis compared to last September.

The administration attributed the year-on-year rise in inflation to the increase in the prices of major groups affecting the movement of indexes, especially clothing, food, education, and clothing, excluding transport.
