Dubai and Abu Dhabi ranked in advanced positions in the "International Financial Centers" Index for 2025, issued by CI World magazine, in cooperation with the CIO Policy Institute, and this index aims to assess the competitiveness of financial centers in the world, as it relies on a global survey that includes thousands of workers in financial services and global banks, in addition to more than 50 reliable indicators from international organizations such as the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development and the World Bank.

According to the ranking, Dubai ranked tenth, confirming its position as one of the world's most important financial centers, while Abu Dhabi came in twenty. New York topped the rankings as the world's most influential financial center, followed by Singapore in second place, London in third, Amsterdam in fourth place, and Hong Kong in fifth. Other European cities such as Zurich and Paris also ranked higher, while Asian financial centers such as Tokyo continue to strengthen their position.
