Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi stressed that the situation must be reviewed with the International Monetary Fund to face the current regional and global challenges, especially if these challenges will push us to pressure public opinion in a way that people cannot tolerate.

On the sidelines of the launch of the second edition of the World Conference on Population and Health, the Egyptian President stressed the importance of taking global economic challenges into account when implementing Egypt's program with the International Monetary Fund, pointing to the loss of between $ 6 to $ 7 billion during the past ten months, with the possibility of continuing this matter for another year.

The Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum announced on Friday (October 18th) that fuel prices would be raised for the third time in 2024. She pointed out that this move comes within the framework of keenness to provide petroleum products, control the performance of the market, reduce the gap between the selling prices of petroleum products and their high production and import costs, and correct the prices of petroleum products.
