The total number of visitors to Oman until the end of July 2024 reached about 2.3 million, an increase of 2.4 percent compared to the same period in 2023.
The tourism indicators report issued by the National Center for Statistics and Information showed that about 371,394 visitors visited in July 2024, a decrease of 1.3% compared to July 2023, which recorded 376,376 visitors.
Gulf visitors accounted for 56 percent of the total visitors during July 2024 with 208,485 visitors, followed by Asian visitors with 89,000 and 7 visitors, then Arabs with 48,221 visitors, Europeans with 13,379 visitors, Africans with 6,092 visitors, visitors from the Americas with 5,271 visitors, in addition to 939 visitors from Oceania.
