Saudi Arabia Is Fourth In the World in Digital Services

The United Nations revealed that Saudi Arabia jumped 25 places in its e-government development index for 2024, to be among the group of leading countries in the world. Saudi Arabia ranked fourth globally, first regionally, and second at the level of the G20 countries in the digital services index, in addition to achieving seventh place in the e-participation index. Riyadh also ranked third out of 193 cities around the world. The Minister of Communications and Information Technology and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Digital Government Authority, Eng. Abdullah bin Amer Al-Swaha, praised the role played in this regard by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman. He noted the unlimited support received by the technical and digital sector, and efforts to support government digital transformation.
