Apple unveiled its new version of the iPhone 16 enhanced by artificial intelligence, hours after its Chinese rival Huawei began receiving orders for its new tri-fold product.
Apple CEO Tim Cook explained during the launch ceremony of the iPhone 16 that "the next generation of the iPhone is designed to suit in particular with the operation of the Apple Intelligence program. It marks the beginning of an exciting new era".
Apple and other technology companies around the world are racing to add artificial intelligence to their products, and phones are expected to become one of the most important arenas of competition. Apple Intelligence, the company's artificial intelligence software, will be used to improve the personal assistant, as well as enhance features such as understanding and identifying objects captured by the phone's camera.
