UAE Achieves 3.4% GDP Growth

UAE Minister of Economy Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri affirmed that "the preliminary estimates of the UAE's GDP during the first quarter of 2024, issued by the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Center, confirm the strength and durability of the pillars of the national economy, and its ability to sustainable growth, and also translate the UAE's commitment to promoting economic diversification and focusing more and more broadly on the sectors of the knowledge economy."

Minister Al-Marri revealed that the real GDP of the state reached 430 billion dirhams during the first quarter of this year, recording a remarkable growth of 3.4 percent compared to the same period in 2023. Non-oil GDP in the first quarter of 2024 grew by 4 percent compared to the same period last year.
