Egypt's Net Foreign Reserves Increased to $46.49 Billion

Egypt's total external debt decreased by about $ 14.17 billion, by an estimated 8.43 percent, during the first 5 months of this year, to decline to $ 153.86 billion by the end of May 2024. The Central Bank of Egypt's net foreign reserves also rose to an all-time high, recording $ 46.49 billion by the end of July 2024.

On the other hand, deposits of Arabic countries at the Central Bank of Egypt fell by about $ 5.6 billion during the first three months of this year. The data showed a decrease in the deposits of Arabic countries with Egypt to $ 41.6 billion by the end of last March, compared to deposits of $ 47.2 billion by the end of December 2023.
