The High Commission for Planning in Morocco revealed that the annual inflation rate in the Kingdom, as measured by the consumer price index, declined to 1.3 percent in July from 1.8 percent the previous month.
Food prices, the main driver of inflation, rose 0.5 percent from a year ago, while non-food inflation increased 1.8 percent.
Core inflation, which excludes the most volatile goods, rose 0.1 percent month-on-month and 2.1 percent year-on-year.
