Qatar achieved a trade surplus during the first five months of this year, amounting to 88.3 billion riyals. The total Qatari exports during the first five months of this year amounted to 143.2 billion riyals, while imports amounted to 54.9 billion riyals.
February was the best month in terms of the five-month trade surplus at 18.1 billion riyals. While the best months in the value of exports were January with a value of 30.9 billion riyals, and the lowest month was April with a value of 27.5 billion riyals. April came as the best month in terms of the lowest imports with a value of 10 billion, and the highest January with a value of 13.4 billion riyals.
