Kuwait Records a Deficit of 1.6 Billion Dinars in 2023-2024

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Finance revealed that Kuwait recorded an actual fiscal deficit of 1.6 billion dinars ($ 5.23 billion) in the fiscal year 2023-2024, compared to a surplus of 6.4 billion dinars in the previous fiscal year.

According to the ministry, the total revenues of Kuwait amounted to 23.645 billion dinars in the fiscal year 2023-2024, compared to 28.802 billion in the previous year.

Oil Kuwait revenues totaled 21.528 billion dinars in the fiscal year 2023-2024 compared to 26.713 billion in the previous year. Non-oil revenues amounted to 2.1 billion dinars, up 1.3 percent from the last fiscal year.
