"The Economist" reviewed the impact of the artificial intelligence revolution, specifically the launch of "Chat GPT", on 100 technology companies, comparing the market value in October 2022, that is, before the launch of "Chat GPT", as the market value of these companies together increased by more than 8 trillion dollars.
These companies are divided into four main classes: cloud computing companies, hardware manufacturers, or software applications, and language model makers. Most of the rises went to hardware makers, especially chip companies like Nvidia, companies that make servers like Dell, and companies that make networking equipment like Arista.
