UAE Minister of Economy Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri predicted that the economy will grow by up to 5 percent in 2024. "The continued growth gives a clear indication of the ability of the UAE economy to continue the march of sustainable and high growth compared to developed countries," he said.

He pointed out "More than 73 percent of the national economy is non-oil, which is the first time in the history of the state to reach this percentage." He pointed out "the UAE ranked second in the world in attracting foreign direct investment, which reflects the confidence of the private sector and investors from around the world in the UAE investment environment." "The UAE economy is highly resilient in facing the challenges the world is witnessing and continuing sustainable growth," he said.
