Saudi Tourism Minister: 27 Million Foreign Tourists Entered the Kingdom In 2023

The Saudi Minister of Tourism, Ahmed bin Aqeel Al-Khatib, revealed that 27 million foreign tourists will enter Saudi Arabia in 2023. He stressed that Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman's new strategy for the Kingdom's Vision 2030 aims to reach 150 million tourists (80 million from home and 70 million from abroad).

"The Tourism Development Fund has provided financing of 35 billion riyals since its inception, while the private sector has signed contracts for the construction of 75,000 hotel rooms," Khatib said."

He said: "Today we have 280,000 hotel rooms, and we aim to reach 550,000 hotel rooms targeted for the year 2030."
