“O reassured soul, return to your Lord, content and satisfactory, and enter into my sanctuary and Paradise.”
With humbled hearts to God Almighty, and souls filled with sadness and sorrow, the President of the Union of Arab Chambers, Samir Abdullah Nass, the Secretary-General of the Union of Arab Chambers, Dr. Khaled Hanafi, and the General Secretariat of the Union, extend to the President of the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry, His Excellency Mr. Muhammad Jassim Al-Saqer, and all the brotherly Kuwaiti people, on the death of the late Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, who assumed the reins of power in 2020 from the late Amir Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
The following is the text of the condolence letter:
It is a historical moment in the history of Kuwait, where the late father and role model for the Kuwaiti people, his rule was characterized by justice and wisdom and was able, as the Emir of the country and crown prince during the rule of the late Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, to be a symbol and leader whose main concern was to provide a prosperous life for his people, and for Kuwait to be proud and prosperous.
The late great man is a loss not for the brotherly Kuwaiti people, but for the Arab and Islamic nations, as his positions have always been supportive of unity, convergence, and fraternity, away from the logic of wars and conflicts. His positions and those of the State of Kuwait on the Palestinian cause, especially in light of the events that have ravaged it in recent months, have been honorable and firm in defending the rights of the Palestinian people to live in freedom and dignity on their land and homeland.
Kuwait was and will remain a radiant beacon among its Arab brothers, and the march of economic and social advancement established by the country's emirs since the inception of Kuwait, will continue during the reign of the new emir, and the State of Kuwait will continue to help and support its Arab brothers as we have known throughout the ages and history.
Kuwait has been and will remain a shining beacon among its Arab brothers, and the process of economic and social advancement that the country’s Emir has established since the establishment of Kuwait will continue during the era of the new Emir of the country, and the State of Kuwait will continue to be help and support to its Arab brothers as we have known throughout the ages and history.
We renew our condolences on the death of the late Amir Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, with our wishes, that God protects Kuwait and its noble people, and that it will always enjoy security, safety, stability, and prosperity.
We belong to God and to Him we shall return
